It’s the last Pretty Wednesday of the month, and I couldn’t let it end without kicking a shout out to all my beauty faves in my latest video.
This month, 7 products stole my heart- ranging from makeup to natural hair products. I get down to the nitty gritty of why they are the bomb.com in my video, but I also wanted to create a blog post geared toward easy shopping without the hassle of searching high and low. Just click the product names below and voila!
Anywho, Check it out and let me know your thoughts in the comments. If you enjoy it, don’t forget to subscribe to my channel so you can stay in the know.
Subculture is the ultimate eye palette for fall. With sultry colors like Fudge, Rowdy, and Axis you’ll steal the show every time you mix and match these 14 shades of perfection. The color range of this palette makes it possible to create a smoldering smoky eye or a natural fall look. I especially enjoy mixing mattes with shimmering colors for the perfect pop. You’ll pay a pretty penny for the subculture palette, but the range of color and the level of pigmentation make it worth every cent.
Beauty Vlogger Melissa Michelle partnered with Ulta Beauty to create a bomb beauty palette inclusive of everything a girl needs to slay the day away. Girl! When you open this pretty package you’ll find:
- a bomb eye palette inclusive of pigmentation that easily competes with high-end brands
- long lasting nude lipstick with a matte finish that translates well over most skin-tones
- The perfect fall blush giving off hues of nude mixed with raisin
- and a highlight
The best part?! It’s only $20.00. Listen, I can’t speak for you…but for me, that sounds like the perfect steal for a beauty who’s determined to ball on a budget.
The search to find the perfect fall lip color can be a tedious. I was lucky to stumble upon my perfect match: Infallible Lip Paints Metallic in Smoldering Eclipse.
This rich lip color glides on smoothly for a vibrant finish. The moisturizing feel of this product won’t leave your lips feeling dry or uncomfortable. In addition, the shine of Smoldering Eclipse is a pleasant change from the typical matte finishes I use throughout the fall. I also can’t get enough of the applicator. It’s perfect for precision.
But that’s not all, I’m also digging the metallic paints in matte finishes like Bronze Burgundy. Although I don’t get the moisture provided by its counterpart, I’m definitely with the stand out look it achieves. It’s perfect for girl’s night out.
While we’re on the subject of lip glosses and such, I can’t leave out Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss in Parfait. This gloss is definitely a fall MVP. With cooler months among us, Parfait steps in with a moisturizing feel that’s long lasting and provides the perfect amount of shimmer. I love using this product alone for a cute natural look or as a top coat over bold burgundies for a bit of an ombre affect. Either way, this baby is definitely a winner.
The raisin color of Stevie converts to the perfect nude lip for the office or everyday wear. I give it two thumbs up for being moisturizing despite being matte. With this lipstick, you won’t feel like application immediately dries your lips out. Instead, you’ll experience a creamy smooth texture that looks like a true matte. Go for this purchase if you’re looking for a more conservative color that still gets you in the fall spirit.
I love a product that does exactly what it says it’s going to do. And that’s what I get with Infallible Pro Matte.
- Demi Matt finished
- Air- Light
- Medium Coverage
The smooth, clear complexion look of this foundation got me tons of complements on my skin. It also stays in place throughout my day without losing it’s matte finish or requiring reapplication.
On the downside, the color range could stand to be expanded. There are currently 11 shades offered. Although Soft Sable worked well for me, I hope we see more colors in the near future.

DevaCurl made a believer out of me! After my initial DevaCut, I wasn’t convinced that I needed to invest in DevaCurl products. I thought I could recreate the same texture and body I got after my visit to the salon since the heat damage was mostly gone. But it was a whole bunch of nopes. Turns out that the products made a major difference that I’m just not getting with my oldies. I’m on the quest to purchase the essentials little by little.
First on my list was Beleavin. I love that it takes my texture and volume to new heights. Want more definition, body, and fullness? Say no more! This is it! If you’re like me, seeing is believing so I’ll be sure to do a wash n go video over the next few weeks. But in the meantime, in between time, you should seriously consider testing it out on your own tresses. I’ve got a feeling that you won’t be disappointed. Oh yea, and click here to get the scoop on my DevaCut experience.
Do we share any of the same faves? If not, what are somethings you couldn’t live without this month? I love hearing from you!
